I recently had a total roof shingle replacement with AVR. At the initial consultation with Doug relative to this process he provided specific and detailed information that would be provided for this job. Items of particular interest were profile of materials utilized, warranty of these items including the company warranty, property protection, scheduling and job supervision. Once selected for the project it was scheduled and completed within two (2) weeks. The installation crew was coordinated, efficient and meticulous in their work. The one noticeable highlight of this job was the cleanup process which was addressed in three phases. As the tear off was ongoing a crew was collecting debris, during the installation a crew was collecting debris and when completed the entire crew collectively scoured the complete area for any possibly remaining debris. Doug was on site for the complete job. From the begging of this project there was clear communication, honest and reliable answers to any question which were presented in a professional manner.

Doug was very responsive to our request to have our roof looked at and we ended up replacing our house and detached garage roofs. He sat in our kitchen with us and we believed in his trustworthiness and honesty. The combined price was lower than a competitor’s price that was just for the house. The roof warranty is best in the business, up to 50 years also with scotchgard protection. His crew came out 15 days after we signed the contract and they completed the job in 1 day. According to Doug it is normal for them to do it in a single day. The crew went over the lawn many many times picking with magnets searching for and dropped metal object. They were very respectful of our property and animals. The price increased for a single 4×8 plywood sheet, ($75) and this was called out in the contract. So there were no negative surprises. This was the best roofing experience I ever had, and based upon the warranty it likely will be my last. Edit: The roof qualified for a State Farm insurance discount. After the huricane remnant caused a leak, I needed fast help. American Veterans Roofing was a fair price with a better warranty then the other quotes. This was not an insurance job. I was paying out of pocket as the roof was old. Our roof was completed in half a day. The crew was like 15 guys. I was amazed at how fast and hard the crew worked. They were on site before sun up and started working immediately. Doug was there the whole time making sure it was done to his high standards. I am confident we will never have to worry about our roof again. Its not just reroofed, but upgraded. A problem area is now triple protected. Doug will explain everything about the higher quality of the materials he uses and why. He does not cut corners. They did a thorough clean up upon completion. They even completely cleaned all the granules from the gutters that were from the old shingles. I am very happy with the quality of work, the finished product and the friendly customer service!
